The Health Food Institute depends significantly on the goodwill and financial
support of a number of companies and organisations within the Health
Food Industry. This support enables the Institute to keep the cost of its training
courses down to a level where the cost is not a significant deterrent to those
interested in pursuing training. It is in the interests of the Health Food
Industry as a whole to have retail staff trained as highly as possible, and
by supporting the Institute in the way that they do, our Contributor companies
are helping in a very tangible way, to achieve that goal, and in so doing helping
to secure the future of the Health Food Industry.
The Institute recognises that the amount of support that can be provided will
vary with the size of the supporting company, and for that reason has created
a Contributor scheme which is flexible enough to cater for most situations.
There are three levels of contribution, and at each level, the Health Food
Institute has attempted to make the benefits to the Contributor commensurate
with the level of support provided. At each level of contribution, Contributors
receive recognition on Institute publications (and website) , a number of free
tickets for the Annual Luncheon and Lecture, plus a number of free training
vouchers that the Contributor can use in sales promotion programmes etc.
Contributors also have the opportunity to purchase additional training vouchers
which be can used to donate scholarships which can be named after them. The costs
